The Wonders Of Improvisation

The Wonders Of Improvisation
Three musicians from different musical backgrounds came together in St George's Cathedral Perth 2015. No music stands, no pieces of paper, no rehearsal. Just using their imagination, the ability to listen to one another, and their respective expertise, they gave a beautiful concert journeying through the sounds of the world, from the mosques and temples of the Middle East and the bamboo forests of Asia, to rhythms of village music in North Africa and the gypsies of Eastern Europe. Hans Deberitz (bass, a background in blues), Rupert Guenther (violin, a background in classical music), Aaron Powell (guitar, a background in jazz & rock). Improvisation allowed these musicians to communicate and create a world class concert event together.
