Catch The Love Finders Quartet performing a night of blues, featuring electric blues violin, guitar, bass and drums, from urban Chicago and the Mississippi delta, to the British blues invasion, and swing jazz classics at The Ellington Jazz Club on Tuesday 23 July.

The band's deep love for storytelling through the blues brings together a show featuring the immediately identifiable electric violin and guitar sound, and the band’s own unique musical style. Classics from the likes of Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Gary Moore and Eric Clapton to the swing of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, from gentle acoustic renditions, to lively house rockers and searing blues… and some surprises!

Fronted by Michael King on guitar, Rupert Guenther on electric violin, with Campbell Carew on drums and Nathan King on bass, The Love Finders Quartet play easy going traditional blues, instrumentals, and swing jazz classics.

“Wipe Out” the music of The Shadows and more

Rupert Guenther presents “Wipe Out” in a live show with band, playing the music of The Shadows and other famous instrumentals from the surf culture of the 1960s. These were the sounds which came to epitomise the soundtrack of many people's lives and the beach lifestyle: riding waves, days in the hot summer sun, and nights relaxing under the cavernous starry night sky, with hits such as Apache, Sleepwalk, Wipe Out and more.

Backed by an all-star band, Rupert (who played sideman to the likes of Olivia Newton-John, Beatles producer Sir George Martin, John Farnham, and Demis Rousos) brings his dazzling skills on the electric violin to make an evocative and family friendly all-ages show of some of the greatest tunes ever.

Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre presents Morning Music September with Rupert Guenther performing his show Wipeout.

Acclaimed electric violinist Rupert and along with his live band presents Wipeout. Playing the music of The Shadows and other famous instrumentals from the surf culture of the 60's, the sounds which came to epitomise many people's lives and the beach lifestyle of riding wives and days by the sea in the hot summer sun. This will definately help to shrug off those winter blues.

Join us for a morning of music, fun, friendship and of course our famous morning tea.

Doors open from 10am and includes complimentary morning tea from 10.15am. Show starts at 11am.

Bookings are essential for catering purposes and there will no door sales on the day. Seating is allocated.
